What is softwashing?

Soft washing is a safe and effective exterior cleaning method that uses low-pressure water combined with specialized, biodegradable cleaning solutions to remove organic growth, stains, and contaminants from surfaces.

Unlike pressure washing, which relies on high water pressure to blast away dirt, soft washing gently cleans surfaces by killing and removing mold, mildew, algae, bacteria, and moss at the root. This makes it especially suitable for delicate surfaces such as roofs, siding, stucco, wood, and painted areas.

One of the primary benefits of soft washing is its ability to provide a deeper, longer-lasting clean. Because the cleaning solution eliminates microorganisms rather than just rinsing away surface dirt, results typically last much longer than traditional pressure washing. Soft washing also helps protect surfaces from damage, as the low-pressure application prevents cracking, etching, or stripping of paint and finishes.
